Prima della loro fulminante apparizione sulle scene negli anni 80, l’ Alt-Country semplicemente non esisteva. I Long Ryders sono l’ anello di congiunzione fra i The Flying Burrito Bros di Gram Parson e i Wilco di Jeff Tweedy attraverso l’ esperienza punk.
Band cult della scena “Paisley Underground” insieme a band come The Dream Syndicat e Green on Red o The Bangles ( veri e proprio fondatori del termine “Americana”), i THE LONG RYDERS hanno pubblicato il loronuovo album: “September November”, prodotto da Ed Stasium (The Ramones, Belinda Carlisle, The Smithereens solo per citarne alcuni), uscito il 10 Marzo 2023 su Cherry Red Records.
